Overview
Faith & Answers helps people explore questions about God, Jesus, Scripture, faith, and life. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use the Faith & Answers app and related services.
Information we collect and use
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect and use:
- Questions and conversation content: the questions, follow-ups, and related responses you submit so we can provide the app's features and maintain the conversation.
- Account and technical information: an anonymous account identifier, app and device information, operating system details, and diagnostic information needed to authenticate sessions, protect the service, and troubleshoot problems.
- Usage and service information: AI credit balances, plan or subscription status, purchase entitlements, and basic interactions needed to operate and improve the service.
We use this information to provide answers, manage credits and access, maintain security, support users, and improve reliability. We do not ask you to submit sensitive personal information, and you should avoid including it in questions. Faith & Answers does not sell users' personal information.
AI question processing
When you ask a question, your question and relevant conversation context are sent to our backend and an AI service to generate a response. This processing is necessary to provide the answer and related features, such as follow-up questions and requests for additional explanation or Scripture.
AI responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. Please use your judgment and verify information that matters to you. Do not include passwords, payment information, health information, or other sensitive personal details in an AI question.
Service providers and purchases
Apple and RevenueCat: purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the Apple App Store. RevenueCat helps us manage purchase entitlements and subscription status. We do not receive your full payment card number from these providers.
Supabase: Supabase provides authentication, database, and backend infrastructure used for app functionality, including anonymous account sessions, conversations, AI credits, and purchase entitlement data.
These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect the app and its users, or prevent fraud and abuse.
Advertising
Advertising may be shown to users who do not have Faith & Answers Pro. Pro users may receive an ad-free experience as described in the app. Advertising partners may process limited device or usage information to deliver, measure, or limit advertising, subject to their policies and the choices available through your device and the app.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, to provide the service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements.
Children's privacy
Faith & Answers is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Your choices
You can choose not to submit a question, and you can limit device permissions through your device settings. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account and the Apple App Store. You can request help with your information or ask a privacy question by contacting us. We may need to verify your request before responding.
Deleting the app may not delete information already processed by service providers. Where applicable, contact us to request deletion or other assistance, subject to information we need to retain for legal, security, or operational reasons.
